CELEBRATING SACRAMENTS

BAPTISM
is celebrated with the parish community on designated weekends during the year at a Sunday Eucharist of the parents' choice. Parents seeking Baptism for their child are expected to be registered members of the parish and to attend a pre-baptismal preparation class.

CONFIRMATION
is celebrated for youth who have reached the ninth grade and who have fulfilled all the requirements of the parish program. Adults in the R.C.I.A. process are confirmed during the Easter Season.

EUCHARIST
is celebrated daily. Communion is distributed under both forms at all Masses and is brought to the sick and homebound upon request. First Eucharist is celebrated by our second graders at selected Sunday Masses during the Easter Season.

RECONCILIATION
is celebrated individually from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. every Saturday in the Reconciliation Room in the Rectory Chapel and at other times by appointment. A Communal Penance Service is celebrated during Advent and Lent.

ANOINTING OF THE SICK
is celebrated upon request and should be administered at home as a matter of course for any individual who is seriously ill, chronically sick, disabled or advanced in age. A Communal Anointing is held once a year on a given weekend at all the Sunday Masses.

MATRIMONY
is celebrated for couples at least one of whom is a registered parishioner. To allow for proper pre-marital preparation, arrangements should be made one year in advance of the proposed marriage date.

HOLY ORDERS is celebrated annually by our Archbishop in the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
