RCIA
Rite of Christian Intiation of Adults

You have come to the right page!

We at the Church of the Little Flower have a vibrant active process known as the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).

The RCIA process of formation that is gradual, marked by ritual steps and continues after the Sacraments of Initiation are celebrated. In the Catholic faith the Sacraments of Initiation are Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation. This process is a journey of faith which welcomes adults, age 18 and over, into the Roman Catholic Church.

PROCESS can be a foreign word for those of us who have become accustomed to signing up for programs - gym programs, sports programs, tutoring programs.  Those of us working with children know Baptism programs… Confirmation programs… First Eucharist programs…

A process allows for deviation, a change in course to adapt to those in the session.  We also have a process for children (RCIC) who have not attended a Religious Formation Program and now wish to become Catholic or complete their Sacraments of Initiation.

If interested, we would be happy to speak with you and share some insight on Catholicism!
